Bring Your Child to Work Day
During the U.S. Take Our Children to Work Day, over 80 children of Hunter employees visited both the San Marcos, California, and Clermont, Florida, campuses for a day of career education, socializing, and facility tours. Hunter Agriculture’s event centered around the theme Energy All Around Us. With their solar panel project nearing completion, the timing was perfect to explore the different types of energy used at the Clermont facility. The kids built tiny solar-powered cars, raced them at the newly renovated test field, and launched parachutes from the field’s catwalk to test their aim in a friendly competition.
On Children’s Day in Tijuana, Mexico, 277 kids completed crafts, entered giveaway raffles, and enjoyed time with their adults on campus. The Environmental Health and Safety Team hosted interactive demonstrations focused on fire safety and emergency preparedness, teaching children how to respond during fire drills and safely use fire extinguishers through fun educational activities.
The events reflected Hunter’s commitment to fostering a family-oriented culture while encouraging curiosity, learning, and interest in future careers connected to technology, sustainability, and manufacturing.
