expanding research and demonstration capabilities
Hunter Upgrades Clermont Test Field for Efficiency and Future Growth
Hunter Industries completed a major upgrade and expansion of the test field at its Clermont, Florida, facility to improve operational efficiency, durability, and long-term testing capacity.
The upgraded test field includes improvements to pumping systems, water management infrastructure, and testing capabilities that support ongoing product development and demonstration activities. Pumping enhancements increased flow per pump by up to 200% while improving energy efficiency by approximately 15%.
Additional upgrades include expanded static riser outlets, optimized test pivots, a new product demonstration platform, and improvements to water retention and structural durability through a concrete-lined field and water reclamation basin. Infrastructure improvements also position the facility to support future expansion and increased testing capacity.
The investment strengthens Hunter’s ability to develop, test, and demonstrate innovative irrigation technologies while improving operational performance and resource efficiency.

Tree Frog Partnership Supports Circular Recycling Efforts
Hunter Industries is continuing its partnership with Tree Frog, a manufacturer of tree anchor products used in landscaping applications.
For the past five years, Hunter Agriculture has recycled plastic scrap materials that occur as a byproduct from operations. In 2025 alone, approximately 28,000 lb (1,2701 kg) of materials were diverted for reuse through the program, and Hunter continues to refine waste procedures to divert more materials from landfills.
Tree Frog uses the recycled materials to manufacture anchor components and adjustment mechanisms for tree support products. Because the recycled materials are repurposed into black components, the company can efficiently incorporate a variety of scrap materials into the manufacturing process.
This ongoing partnership helps reduce landfill waste while supporting a more circular approach to manufacturing materials and product reuse.
advancing renewable energy at hunter tijuana, mexico
Supporting Sustainability with Solar Power
Hunter Industries completed its first solar installation at its Mexico facility, adding 400 kW of on-site renewable energy capacity to support cleaner and more efficient operations.
Installed across existing rooftops and canopy structures, the system helps reduce reliance on conventional electricity sources while lowering greenhouse gas emissions. The project also supports long-term energy efficiency and generates measurable annual energy cost savings.
The installation reflects Hunter’s continued investment in practical sustainability initiatives that strengthen operational performance while reducing environmental impact.
